Hello, I've been searching for battle simulator. There are few topics on forum and few people who were developing their own calculators.
Unfortunately those topics are old and all links and sites are down.

Does any simulator exist nowadays ?
If there is none, maybe someone have a code of one of those calculators, so I can look at it and make my own ?
Or maybe at least there is somewhere a comprehensive and correct guide on how battles are calculated ?

Can you guys fix bracket? we beat belligerent 3:0. I would also like to suggest that as paradox has been inactive for a few months, that they have forfeited and enigma should advance- but this is obviously a decision to be made between paradox and enigma.

Yesterday I bought incognito mode for a day, everything is fine. Today I bought it again, and submarine unit type is gone from the production menu. I try open guess acc from my android phone, and submarine is there. So, It's only gone for my incognito account.

I tried to make a new game, and even tried to reconnect, yet the submarine unit type is still disappear. checking at https://atwar-game.com/units.php also isn't there.

Hey after playing atwar all these years i always noticed that where all our units are listed with the numbers of the different units like air transport and subs which for example in a casual game im in right now i know exactly i just have 2 air transports but why is it showing 7 and im paying the upkeep for 7 air transports but only got 2... and no i didnt even built 7 and lost 5 or somthing like that its a new game round 5-6 or so and it is always wrong in every game i ever checked ... i even searched the forum and found nothing about anyone else having this problem .. hope somebody can answer me


This is a persistent bug that seems like an easy fix, but it has eluded both the original developer (Amok) as well as Dave. Just know in casual games, the count is accurate at the start of the turn, and remains accurate 'under the hood' when the calculations are made. What is incorrect is the display... you will notice, particularly with transports, that when you move them, that is when their count goes up.. the bug counts the original position, and then when you move it somewhere, it SOMETIMES counts it as a new unit. So by the end of your turn, a single transport can be counted a few times, leading to high counts for those units. But you will see that despite the 'display' (which can often give high numbers, and result in your income dipping into negative numbers) the actual calculations at the start of the new turn are accurate. ♥

1. What's New:

Hello everyone and welcome to the first edition of New World Empires at War. As many of you know, this is a very popular scenario. Because it is a scenario, I am unable to make changes to it. For example, the maximum number of turns in the game is set to 50. This is not an ideal solution from my perspective but we shall see how it goes.

2. Game Protocols:

Please observe the following game protocols:
• Be considerate of other players when leaving a game. If possible do not leave prematurely.
• Do not leave a game by timing out. If you have lost the game, surrender.
• Take your turn in a timely manner. Don't be the last player to take your turn every turn.
• Players are no longer restricted to their home countries on turn one.


3. Settings:

• The maximum number of players is fifteen (15).
• Starting funds are $50,000.
• Minimum rank is five (5).
• Maximum number of initial territories that can be selected is one (1).
• Maximum number of turns is fifty (50).


4. Player's Invitation List:

You will receive a game invitation if you are on the Player's Invitation List as follows:

You will be added to the Player's Invitation List if:
• You are a new coalition member.
• You have joined a coalition game (coalition and non-coalition players).

You will be removed from the Player's Invitation List if:
• You have been inactive in atWar for 10 days or longer as of the game date.
• You request to be removed. All requests are final. No dithering please.
• You have been banned from coalition games.

Coalition Leaders and Officers are de facto members of the Player's Invitation List.

I guess that happens when you reload in a quick game too. Idk what causes that bug... But regardless of what you see, you pay the upkeep of what you have at the beginning of a turn, not at the end.

For example, you have 6 infantries, you build 2 more, then lose 3 in a battle.
At the beginning of the next turn, you'll pay the upkeep of 5 infantries.
There's no bug with this one, the bug exists only in the finances menu...

true, but one thing is a procedure that anyone can use managed by a button one thing is a massive procedure used by a programmer who can see any problems and if necessary intervene directly and solve them by also adapting the procedure.
Once this procedure is in place then you could put it in a button


The dev is able to fix the deleting function. So when this gets on the top of his priority list, it'd be a waste of time to do a temporary helper thing (that will also require him to create an extra function to fulfill its purpose in the future) instead of doing a proper fix!

maybe you are right, mine was just an idea, however sometimes especially in the web environment some functions are there but cannot be given to everyone because they are not complete or vulnerable, in particular the delete functions in some cases are used directly by the developer .
however on silverlight this function existed, if it is possible to delete a map with functions not yet public for some reason this could be an idea, if this is not possible and the way is to put a button available to everyone then it will be fine just wait
