Issue with freezing

I've been playing atWar for sometime now and only recently (as of yesterday) have I been unable to connect for long to the website. It loads extremely slowly or just freezes completely. It happens sporadically but generally if I'm able to connect, it'll freeze about 30 minutes later.

I've checked if it was a virus, so I scanned with Malwarebytes; anything that came up was quarantined. I checked if Microsoft Silverlight was out of date, it was not. I checked if my java or flash player was out of date, they were not. I've restarted my computer and tried different web browsers; this did not help. I asked if this was happening to anyone else in the game and they said no.

I didn't know where else to put this, so I put it in the Questions board. I don't really assume to be a bug since I'm the only one experiencing it.

I'm pretty sure it's the servers. I have the same problem occasionally where AW is the only website that seems to either fail to load or take a good while before it does load successfully. Everything was fine a week before though.

It's still hapenning. It's also getting worse, now most of the time the site won't load at all.

random unrelated question, but are you aware that your name is the irish for question?

Yes I'm aware. I made this name up a long time ago but decided to google it after I made it up, turns out it's irish for question and is also a group of catholic schools in ireland.
