Regions in smaller maps.

I know that small maps such as Europe, Mid. East etc are great for small games, but it would be pretty good to see regions within those countries such as Tuscany/Catalonia and so on.

This would help equalise between east/west, as the eastern regions could incorporate a number of RL areas, as well as making the game more strategic.

Maybe you could get a bonus for occupying all the regions in a country

Europe is already broken into many small-ish areas. Breaking countries like Italy or Spain even further is hardly necessary - and what would be the point if each such "country" will only have 1 or no cities?

The only reason USA, Brazil, Russia etc were broken into regions was because they were huge and the gameplay around them wasn't very exciting to say the least. Unlike Europe, where everything is almost perfectly balanced at the moment.

Btw, are you really from Liechtenstein? Wow.

Highly doubt they could (too small, Rome is on Vatican), but maybe something like Singapore could be possible (Or make Liechtenstein a city in Germany, Austria or Switzerland). Andorra and Monaco could work too (Both would be French).

Vatican city is the surviving remnant of the Papal states. It's counted as a City state, and therefor, a "country" by most standards.

Yes vatican city/holy see is a country, it's capital is the vatican city which is a walled city within rome, with it's head of state being the pope

Papal states, it's capital being rome was the home of the catholic church since the middle ages, was absorbed during the unification of italy, in 1870.

But the papal states were given independence in 1929, named as Vatican city and given a tiny walled area in Rome.

official language is Catalan. A language that extends mostly in Spain and only a few parts of France and in a island of italy.
The coat of arms of andorra have the flag of catalonia, Catalonia autonomous community of Spain (Cataluña in spanish and Catalunya in catala)
Catalan and spanish are actually the most speak languages in andorra
