OK. I'm sorry for asking another "stupid noob" question but I'm not being successful with searching for the information I'm looking for.

In the THREE games that I have played so far I have seen players leave the game by Surrendering (even did that myself). I'm aware a player could Abandon a game but I own my defeats so I'm not sure what the actually does.

I have also seen players be removed from that game for what I was told was failure to meet time out deadlines (Casual game) yet I have also been Timed Out (Quick Game) with out being booted from the game. Finally I am in a Casual game where some of the players have not been active for 4+ turns yet still have units and a color on the map. What gives?

When is an inactive player booted? Are they booted?

Noobish minds want to know... Thanks in advance.

Surrendering:Get half of the SP you earned, but it counts as a loss on your record/profile.
Abandoning:Get no SP at all from the game, but not counted as a loss.

I honestly don't know what you're asking in your last 2 questions though, sorry. :u

I think it is 5 turns in quick games to get booted. It might be the same in casual, I'm not sure.

I'm starting to think abandoning a game (or time out ejection) should cost reputation points.

Each game should also have a tally of all the reputation points from all the players in it.

It is frustrating joining a game only to watch quitters through the game totally off balance.

You quit, it should cost reputation so the rest of us know not to play with you.

Rep is pointless, people just farm it anyways.

Yes they are timed out/booted for inactivity, I believe the time is 5 weeks inactivity, Though at 3 you can boot them if you are the game owner by going to the player list.

honestly the AW forums are a bad place to get info, you should just ask an experienced player directly(most don't post on the forums often besides the mods).

Reputation is really just for people to tell you that they think you're good or something. At least, that's how I use it. Having it deducted by abandoning a game wouldn't work, because it's given by real people. You don't earn it from the computer.

Easiest way would be to have games played put back onto stats, this will show how likely you are to walk out.

^at least on scenarios, i rly hate when a noob picks a good country and then he quits or gets own.
[example: Germany on ww2]
