Since the players who complain about this be considered crying and they desert this game with out even bothering arguing about it now we should make it clear for what the community wants to take the decision to leave this game or stay in the majority's choice...

ps: if clovis comments anything i hope mods delete what ever buttlicking bs he/she writes

We've no admins to apply mechanics changes syrian. Its a waste of time right now. Would you believe ust the other day. I had 9 sm bombers 3 inf fail vs an 8 inf neutral. Its hilarious because in 3 years of playing i had been using 8 bombers 3 inf vs that neutral amount. Sometime last year that failed on me for the first time so i switched up to 9.

I tried convincing amok some time back to apply changes to the rolls sytem to reduce variance in results but he wasnt interested. If he were actually here working on the game i bet he could be convinced but yea. Maybe someday eh.

My thoughts exactly. I couldnt believe it. It was a game vs kogi. I double checked the unit amounts i sent after because i thought maybe i had sent less by accident. But theres no doubt it was 9 bombers. On that same turn i had 2 bombers 1 inf fail vs 2 militia. This ive seen before but extremely rarely. But yea i think its pretty shit. These kinds of lotto rolls happen every so often and fuck games.

the game is very ridiculous anymore.... its not enough of the tb bullshit but even rolls

Rolls seem to work on my side most of the time...
ive been sending 7 infs to Austria since forever and I can only remember it failing once or twice D (didn't know that everyone sent 8 on it )
rolls are variable yes..but I think that makes the game more fun and unpredictable, rolls are the last concern for aw anyway,admins need to fix servers first

its already a powerful tool but there is a bug to avoid tbs using transports tho... people who tbs alot exploit it examples are krator and clovis

Time and time again I hear people complaining about unfair battle outcomes. "Surely my superior force should've defeated that puny army?", they say. Well, in most case, sure, but there are exceptions, and they are absolutely necessary.

First of all, if you're interested in battle mechanics, I can recommend you to put the slowest battle speed in your settings - this will show the actual rolls (damage) and help you understand the mechanics. Also, here's a FAQ battles entry. Basically, every unit normally has 7 HP (hit points) and a certain range of attack and defense rolls (depending on the situation). That range is always 1 to max attack/defense (which you can see on the units page / units menu in the game).

Now, if you're extremely unlucky, your unit will roll 1 several times in a row, only dealing 1 damage each time. It would take 8 hits just to take one enemy unit down. Every time you attack, an enemy unit fires back (using their defense stats). So, every time you will also be taking damage. Again, in an extreme situation, enemy can take down one unit per shot.

Things like that happen, and the randomness and unpredictability factor that they bring is extremely important to keep the gameplay exciting and being closer to the real world, where as you know, pure numbers don't always win and unpredictable outcomes happen all the time.

the thing is you have came where you are not invited to post in and you have even posted...
you cheated several times against me you got OP rolls and refused to accept the fact that you have lost several times especially at that egypt thing... who take egypt wins in africa we all know that and this bullshit that has happened there gave you an win you had no right to take so i balanced the shit out and yet you turned it against me because justice means and meant nothing to you :/

turning off rolls would be bland and turning off crits alone wouldnt solve the problem when a 10 att unit can roll a 1 or a 10.

Its like.. that time back then when before the game starts, you surprisingly become a budist, muslim and christian at the same time, praying that neutrals wont get +1 after turn 1 just to fuck you up and your expansion hah..
