Player ID

Basically, players can change name, but there should be a number that you cant change.
For example: raetahcodeupon (648147).

*Edit:
Users have already ID, mine is 103224, but this should be showed IN THE GAME.

This idea is been used by the mods for modding reasons
and there is no reason why regular players should see the player ID numbers ingame or in forum because if we really curious about who the player that changed his name is we can simply view the profile page of the one we want to reveal the identity.

I would like if the IP adress of the player is shown in his profile, so we can check for alts on our own ...tired of alts sending me insulting pm-s.

sorry but this is not a good idea. there are reasons why the IP address is shown only for Moderators the ones admins trust the most you should think about it.

if you want to know which is secondary account then simply ask one of the mods to check it for you

I dont want to bother mods for something meaningless like that :/ ...but why is there an IP search in the Playerlist? ...when i type in my IP it shows me only my Goblin account and not some others i made before that.

I totally agree with adding something to the profile to see what alt the user has, but i would not show the IP of the user. It would be better to see a list of the alts. I personally don't think that we should hide that. This would also increase more trust for CWs and would probably reduce the trend of alt spamming.

But in addition to this there should be a hide button for this function for admins/mods in case there is a good reason to hide it.

Yes but i want this to be showed during game, when you use the mouse arrow over a name, and it shows you the image of the player, coalition, rank, Elo, rep, and actions to add friend, enemy or ignore. There should appear the ID...

if you dont want to bother the mods with that then its your decision, and you cant ask to allow regular players to check by them self because you dont want to ask mods to do it. i am sure the admins wont allow regular players to view other members IP because of obvious reasons. and there is IP search in player list because Mods are players too you know. about your IP check it might have been changed.. try it again, login with guest account and check your IP and you will see the related accounts

I agree with that idea , some profiles are bugged , they keep changing their names and you can't see their old names , please deal with that

1- This already exists.
2- If a player wants to use an alt that is their decision and it is their personal information. I believe the admins already made clear their position on this issue a while back.
