Found a Viable Map Editor Fix :D

Helly here for all of you aspiring map makers who are unable to even try and get started working with the feature you payed for. For browser Silverlight in all regards is dead....

But if you cant wait till 2020 for the html5 map editor to come out there is hope!

And install option one, this is the now functioning Silverlight client! (it was broken for I'm not even sure how long)

Does no one want new maps? Because telling people the only way to make maps is a virus is how you get no new maps.

It was broken, before maps would not save in the Silverlight client now they do.

First Japanese team complete, each team will have its own entirly unique set of units with varying stats, this team is more naval dependent and will show that in its units.

Now the only question i have is format of the game, there where many factions in the sino-japanese war would you rather it be more historically accurate with no teams and allying your historical counter parts, such as all japanese teams ally or ban, or would you rather me leave out war lords and communists and just have the republic square off with japan?

First of all. holy shit you actually did it, second, while the Chinese command was fractured during the war, there wasn't actually any infighting due to the Chinese United Front, so teams would make more sense.

What I read about it was the China was very fractured and many regions where controlled by local warlords and manchuria before Japan placed a puppet ruler in charge in 1931(scenario starts in 1930 the eve before the war starts)was completly autonomous.

That's true but when Japan attacked in 1937 the United Front was established, before that there wasn't a proper war, it was just Japan taking advantage of opportunities to chop off pieces of China

It depends on what someone considers as the "Second Sino-Japanese War". The first conflict between Chinese and Japanese was the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1931, but it was only against the local warlord. The large-scale war began with the Marco Polo bridge incident in 1937.

I guess it depends on what kind of scenario you want to make. You could make a political-ish 1930 scenario, a Barbarossa-style 1937 scenario, or a later one where the frontlines are like Tik's but there is more focus and both sides are split into factions. Any can work.

Ok I got what I'll do, I'll do it aetius style and reuse the map for several scenarios, I'll start with a none team political version in 1930. Then I'll adapt it to 1937 team version and finally a 1942 asian theatre ww2.
