Duel season... is it even a thing?

So, besides the obvious fact being that no one remembers about it any more, is there something to do about it? Low ranks farming in beginner's room, obvious alts by the way they play, yet they basically destroy the competition. How isn't their elo removed at least?

Why would it be removed? They are not breaking the rules, no reason to punish.

There were many discussions about this before, the conclussion is as long as they arent playing their main with their alt and farming tht way they are free to do this.

Change the rules, not the outcome.

The game is balanced. You need to learn to play it better.

Only 3 names that can be recognised and only these 3 players are rank 7+... where's the logic in that? Most of those low ranks simply do not fight higher ranks due to them being in the beginners lobby as well. As for the rest of high ranks, they've basically forgotten about the duel season, it's not worth competing against alts. Wtf is it gonna take for someone to step in and do something about it...?

I still suggest that we make duels in main room and prevent the maximum rank of the duel game from being changed.

In any sport you would not have two separate leagues on the same leader board .Half the team's would only play each other and vice versa, Resulting in an unfair league.

Nice respecting others opinion imao.I dont get why strategy changes must be judged by you...And no you shouldnt make an anti ds expansion because when you duel you make other expansion.Not the anti ds one.Also underestimating someone might be a mistake you know.

I respect logical and constructive opinions. I don't like or respect shittalkers who follow me around leaving me bitchey quotations. This is why you get my contempt. And no im not underestimating you, ive played you plenty of times.

As far as I know, the trophy awarding is coded so mods can't do much about the trophy being given to the actual guy with most elo. Yet they should be able to watch and catch those low ranks, there's no way on earth those guys are legitimate main accounts by the way they play. This is disgustingly disturbing but still no one does anything about it.

Learn that people have right to do what they want with their games. Want to ban ds fags like dominoz does?
You have right to do it
Wanna ban ranks higher than you like Northern peick does, you have right to that also.
Want to play no strat no upgrades, also you have right to do it.

You do realize the dueling ladder is supposed to showcase the actual competitive side of the game? The reasons you stated above are obviously why this needs a revamp.

Ofc theyre not. I cant believe people are sad enough to go to the effort of it. I played one of the top 5 from last season on a new guest account. He said something so uniquely odd to me after the game that i was certain it was critical.

I lost 1st place in last duel season to the current #1 because I couldn't admit that DS is not OP but Ukraine. I'm also hdrakon, the earth is flat and Trump is the best U.S president ever.

On topic: sad that what was once the best thing in atWar turned into this. Back then, you had activity trust a bigger ELO pool. People who rejected to duel or only played some specific settings couldn't overcome the players that played nearly anywhere. Now the activity is so poor. Gaps of over 200 ELO between #1 and #12 place are common. The competitive scene entered to the era where playing safe is the best way to go.

I believe reducing the maximal ELO difference from 512 to 200 would be a nice first-step to address the issue.
