Ghost-IV's UN Map Details


This Un takes the game to a whole new level with custom events that players are allowed to
participate in. This un also have alot of resources for players in the ocean. Another new feature
is civil wars. 4 players are capable of fight each other in civil war (more details below).

There are a lower amount of UN Bases to reduce op uns so players do not get killed by rogue uns
easily.

None the less, the new features are listed below:

*Korea is both a nation and an auctioneer (More about Auctioneering on Section 2)

*War Events added to make un game less boring (More Detail on War Events on Section 3)

*ASEAN is the World new, they will broadcast world news once every 2 turns (Based on Progress and
important events)

*Unit Deployment for events and to buff Korea and Turkey due to the fact that they are the smallest
nations and have less reinforcements then other nations.

*New and old UN rules revised on section 1

*1 Special Unit Per Nation

*Each Nation uses regional tanks (meaning they differ depending on region).

*UN has black eagles (not new), UN Infantry (Defense), and UN Tanks (offense).

*Battleships and Cruisers Added

*Destroyers and Submarines Modified (Subs still carries only Marines but Subs can fit more in now)

*Walling Coastlines with boats Available

And other features I added that I could not think of at the present time.

Section 1: Rules

Rules to this UN are similar to the ones on UN Club but there are also additional and revised rules
below:

1. Nations must publicly declare war with legal reasons and before going to war, the UN must decide on to approve or refuse based on reason.

2. Nations cannot enter other nation's airspace or land space. If this rule is violated then the victim can destroy trespassing units and declare war. UNs cannot decline. (Violators cannot go rogue for this reason.)

3. Allies can support other allies by defending or funding their ally however they cannot assist in invading the enemy nation. (Violating this rule will allow the UN to declare you rogue).

4. Threats are a reason for war and UNs cannot decline it.

5. Members of UN have the right to vote and the majority votes can overrule a UN's declaration or to declare a UN rogue (IF UN Breaks Rules).

6. UNs cannot confiscate nuclear silos or any WMD silos unless a nation used them against another nation or UN. (Nations will be declared rogues automatically and votes do not count if a nation nukes another nation.)
An exception to the rule is when the world is in world war 3 or the nation chooses to sell the silos to the UNs.

7. The UN cannot intervene or participate in world war 3 (All rules do not apply unless nations declare themselves to be neutral).

8. Neutral land will either be delegated by UN, auctioned by the auctioneer (Korea), and/or declared free for all to fight over or in other word disputed.

9. UNs cannot occupy land other than their own bases (taking over rogue nation's bases is an exception until the rogue nation is defeat, then the UN must leave the lands
immediately).

10. UNs can offer Loans but loans must be paid back in x amount of turns based on x income per turn.

11. Korea is the auctioneer, they can sell land but land sold by korea (neutral) must be paid to UN1 or UN2 (Depends on Jurisdiction). Korea can still participate in
wars and occupation of oil as they are still a nation.

12. No Nation can participate in Event wars other then nations who were already added to event. Ex. Carribean war involves Russia (Cuba), USA (Bahamas) Canada (Jamaica) and WEU (Puerto Rico, Haiti, and Dominican Republic) and Pacific Islands war involves ASEAN (Vanuatu), USA (Solomon Islands), WEU (New Caledonia), and Japan (Fiji). If a nation not suppose to be involved in an event war gets involved, they will be declared rogue automactically.

13. Oil wars are included in this map and when an oil war event has started, all oilrigs in the waters are vulnerable to attacks and liberation.

14. WW3 can be declared by nations anytime after turn 15 with 5 other players agreeing to ww3. (6 players needed for ww3).

15. Nations are not allowed to occupy UN Bases, HQs, and Embassy's or they will be declared rogue automactically (this rules applys during WW3 too and even if UN bases are neutral).

16. Territories involved in war events Carribean and Pacific Island Conquests that are mentioned in Section 3 are the only territories that can be used to reinforce and attack other territories involved in the event.

17. If an ally end has been voted for (Majority Votes) then all players must ally end or they will be declared rogue automactically.

18. If WW3 is official, all event wars are voided until ww3 is finished. If ww3 exceeds all event wars from turn 15 to turn 20 then the event war will not happen.

19. Rebels cannot attack you and no one can attack rebels until Rebels declare war on a specific country. This can happen at anytime during the game (Even in World War). The only Rebel base that can be attacked right away is the Syrian Civil war between Arab League and Rebels. Only units in Syria can be used for the civil war.

Section 2: Auctioneering

UNs are responsible for auctioning neutral land from turn 3 and forward.

All neutral land sold must be paid to UN 1 or UN 2 (depends on Jurisdiction).

Oilrigs cannot be sold.

Auctions cannot continue during ww3 but must be done before and after ww3.

Section 3: War Events

I have included war events to make un alot more fun for each and every person. The war events are listen below and the nations involved will be listed.

The nations involved in war events can be allied with another nation involved.

For the War events to happen, at least 1 person must be willing to fight to involve the rest.

Rebellion!: Duration of war, Turn 5 - End of Game

Involved:

Rebels vs 1 Nation at a time (depending on where rebels are located.)

Chinese, Korean, Syrian, and African Civil War: Duration of war, turn 2 - 8

Involved:

N. China vs S. China
N. Africa vs S. Africa
Syria vs Syria (rebels) (Can only use units within both Syrias)
North Korea (Russia supported) vs South Korea (USA Supported) (Can only use units within both Koreas)

Conquest for Greenland & Switzerland: Duration of war, turn 6 - 11

Involved:

Canada vs UK vs Rebels
CEU vs WEU

Oil Wars: Duration of war, turn 10 - turn 15

Involved:

All Nations who holds oilrigs in the water)

Conquest for Cyprus, Lebanon, and Israel: Duration of war, turn 11 - 16

Involved:

Arab League vs Turkey vs CEU vs USA

World War 3: Duration of war, can start anytime from turn 15 - turn 500 and it will end when players decide to stop ww3. (at least 5 of 6 players must agree).

Soviet Invasion Confirmed: Duration of war, turn 17 - 25

Involved:

Russia (Invader)
USA (Defender)

Section 4: UN Expectations and Other Stuff

UNs are expected to be able to:

Promote Players to use their political skills to resolved conflict.
Kill Rogue nations
Follow rules
Send peace (not ally) to each nation (For Auctioning purposes)
To quickly dissolve of rogue nations before another nations die from rogue nations.
Refer to the rules often to keep themselves from rogueing by accident.

To be UN, you will be require to meet requisites below:

UNs must be rank 6 and up UNLESS I (Ghost-IV) Know them personally (experience).
Knowledgeable with rules and nations.
Have a significent amount of time to play
Must not be trolls, leavers, or UN Rogues (updated ban list on Un club).

You have yet to make a UN game (noting that you can make a better UN). So instead of complaining why don't you make one and prove that you can make a hell of a UN game instead of complaining?

You yet to surprise me with a good or in your case "Original" UN game.

Tell me how you would make your un game and go make it. Since you seem to know how to make maps why don't you make a UN game for us so we can play it and determine who's un is better?

Btw I'm Canadian not American but Cpt. Magic has a point and that is why I'm asking you these questions.

I also tried making a UN (Empire UN), I tried my best to make it different from all the others, and encourage players to war each other by having different levels of war and escalation.

Eventually though I gave up because I realize the majority of UN players don't want war, in fact they do their best to get their enemies declared rogue so that UN does the work for them. Many also seem to lack the ability to understand the rules I was putting up in my scenario.

Anyway my point is the idea of having the event based wars seems like a good idea, but I imagine in practice most of the players will have no idea what's going on and chances are one of the UNs will declare a player rogue for following the rules.

Well that is why I tell uns to pay attention to event wars and players as well. Event wars are great but players involved in the event war does not have to participate if they all agree but if one wants to fight in that war the other is dragged in.

Aside from replying to your post NoOne,

I am beginning a revival project on my UN map, I will be making a lot of Modifications to make it even better.

If anyone has suggestions please by all means post them!

Well you could make a custom new map make it sorta like un but have like difference races, like say humans, Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, etc.... and have one player as an op ruler.

The Ruler would make sure all follows the rules and such.

Could be modern or medieval.

Well ghost I havent seen the game up and that link to map helps me none. But I do have a few suggestions
1.The event wars there good but meh I would suggest a cause for war instead of a invent like lets say
"Japan wishes to remake its imperial empire and has asssembled several Fleets to do so. Paciffic nations prepare for this attack" Japan gets cause of war on china for north korea and manchuria, Japan gets cause of war against russia for far east russia. Japan gets the cause of war to annex oceania( Cant remember the name so fuck it). USA can join the war to combat Japan and all nations can etheir join or combat Japan together.(Spawn units for all who is involved)

See I just made paciffic war chaos dosent that sound funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Also blackhole I came to the conclusion you are a UN trol
