This is the worst update/change/mistake i have ever seen in my 4,5 years in atwar, rivaling even the change from silverlight to html.

Now everyone can re-invent themselves, we wont know who anyone really is and nickname trolling can become really annoying. Just adds to the death of the game.

all have different tastes, anyway i think options to customize all r best, everyone can customize how it fits him

Why is the move from Silverlight to HTML a bad idea? It allows Mac users like me the ability to play ( I think )

Adding a player permenant name down or up of the original whould fix this.

Silverlight was stable, html 5 is not. Silverlight had fewer less prominent bugs, html5 is borderline broken. Server disconnects where infrequent, now they are daily. Image quality was crisp, now they are blurry. Silverlight map editor rarely had issues, with the switch to html 5 all the map makers left do to issues with the tool. The new pop up menu when hovering over a unit is annoying and was obviously designed for phones which is a terrible idea in itself. Create a seperate phone version of aw, don't try to mix a browser community with that of phone users that shit will not work. Well I started ranting but that's about it at this point.

Ya, while I appreciate them trying to open the game to mobile users, it isn't that usable in its current state, and if it's affecting the base game, that's bad business.

Ivan had the idea long before that though know. Infact people usually just messaged him for him to remove their previous names so he instead added the feature for people to do it themselves.
