Hello Afterwind! I thought it would be fun to get a map game going here...what's that? You've never heard of a map game? Oh my. Well, let me elaborate:
What the Baal is a map game, and why should I care?
-Well, a map game is basically and alternative history game, where a base map is posted as the starting turn. Player can chose preexisting countries on the map if there are any, or start a new one if it's blank. Depending on the type of map game, players control events that happen throughout the world while playing.
Okay, I get it...so what are the rules?
-Well, picking up where we left off last entry, in this map game you will only be able to control events in your own country that happen only using your ethnicity/population. You may send your people abroad to crusade, invade, spy, negotiate, etc, but you may never write another country's history unless the other country agrees. There will be a maximum of 50 players, who may start anywhere on the map. They must have a name for their people, at least one settlement to serve as a capitol, some sort of material or product they are skilled at making (EX: Michigan, Cars. Gunma, Anime. Berlin, Pornography). You start off with exactly ONE province on the entire map. To conquer blank land (grey), you simply post an event in your comment. You may conquer up to three provinces a comment, no more.
You speak of comments and turns...how do those work?
-Alright, so the game will start off at Year 0, First Era. Every turn (comment) is exactly one year. You set up a turn like this:

-Events can be anything important that happen in your turn. 1 per month. When making an event, think seriously: "Does this sound plausible? Realistic? Does it make sense? Is it fair? If it is unrealistic or unwanted, it will be voted on to see whether or not it if factual or to be removed.

If I didn't explain anything fully or you have questions, please comment below. If you guys find this interesting, I will start an actual game (needs at least 10 players). Maybe if it become popular enough, the winner could be awarded a trophy or something.

Hey guys! Since Round 1 is coming to a close, I thought I would introduce something: Medals. After every round (after everyone takes a turn), I will award players a Medal for in-game actions. There are currently three obtainable one, which are the following:
"Capture THIS!" -Awarded for most progressive nation (Most positive OP)  "Land grab" -Awarded for most provinces  "The almighty Foodnipple" -Free medal for everyone!  --- Everyone will probably get Medals 2 & 3, only a few will get medal 1, due to your scores. Note, now that we have new medals, a new rule will be added at the next round, where half of your events must not increase your scores, to avoid farming/cheating. You may receive each medal up to nine times. Good luck!

Ok so I think Ive compiled a list of the dos and donts (X)# of events MUST be dedicated to the (X) military units >IE 3 events for one navy Each month can only do one thing >Add 1 army, OR add OP etc You can only take 3 territories per turn >each territory adds 1000 pop. and -10% OP Every 10% OP = 1000 new people Ludicrous events will not be counted 5 events = 1 city Anything else? IDEAL TURN J- Roodyville makes army (1/1 army) F- City laid. Nippleland (1/5 city) M- (2/5 city) A- (3/5 city) M- (4/5 city) J- (5/5 city) J- Roodyville invades land 1 2 &3 A- Roodyville Conquers 1 2 &3 S- Free pencil for everyone day (+10% OP) O-Pencils broke (-10% OP) N- Pens for everyone (+10% OP) D- New Years! (+5% OP)

Yes, you may  But you'll have to wait until round 2, don't want to update the map every day (Every week was the intention). You'll be player 11. (Btw, no need to tell me where places are on the map, I know every place on Earth  , but thx anyways).

Doesn't work in Chrome, it just opens up the frame. I prefer Firefox personally, but my computer just can't handle it so I'm stuck with Chrome.
