Looking for teaching clan (RANK1)

Okay, I'm gonna be honest I'm an absolute noob at this game I'm not to sure how to play properly and always seem to have far less troops than most other players. If I could be taught I would appreciate it greatly.

To get into a clan just level up at first so maybe get to rank 3-4 then start looking for clans to join
