Red.Army should be a supporter

Red.Army was demoted today from his supporter position. This post isn't meant to argue against the demotion (which is against forum rules), but to explain why atWar could benefit from him being reinstated:

-All staff have done controversial things in their past. Demoting him for past behavior will make others question other staff's past behavior (believe me we have all done stupid things on atWar).
-He has done a fantastic job tutoring the Red.Army clan lowest ranking members to participate in clan wars. This can be productive for new users asking for help.
-Red.Army has matured over the years and now keeps his opinions to himself.
-Since he is a clan leader, he has developed exceptional organizational skills.
-If staff is to be judged retroactively for past comments/ actions, we would never be able improve atWar's game experience. The supporter position's tasks do not include being spotless clean from controversy, but to be effective in helping players with questions and enhance their gameplay.

What do you guys think? If you have specific examples against his reinstatement that happened recently, please reply so players can make a intelligent decision!

No, I don't have examples but he's a good guy and has tried being a staff role for years and in my opinion, should have been giving a second chance or disciplined
not demoted on day one before his potential could be fully reached.

to add to this if he was to be promoted why didn't they take the time to decided

Red is actually liked on aw, not the same can be said for half of the mods

It's no secret that red.army has engaged in arguments in the past and if that was not known before his promotion then that's something to address on its own.
however, as a player he is always very helpful and happy to provide advice. Regardless of his official position, I know that I and many players will be turning to him for advice, so might as well allow him to be a supporter to provide help more efficiently

Oh he absolutely has done controversial things in the past, just like Kaska, Eagle and Cold Case etc. . But that doesn't mean that he, and the mentioned mods, should lose their position (in fact I congratulate all of them for their dedication and hard work),

The point I was trying to make is that the mods I mentioned have trolled and posted toxic content in their past, but one could argue why they still deserve to keep their position. The same argument should be applied to Red.Army. Even though he has posted controversial stuff in the past, this shouldn't represent his current opinions/ actions. #reinstateRed.Army

Opinions matter to the staff and how it reflects on them and their legacy and there future on atwar

The demotion of Red is double broblematic:it is against forum rules and also completely hypocritical. ''Controversial things'', ''troll and post toxic content '',on an internetic war game,wow!!Even if that is true,''let those without sin throw the first stone''.Mods and players in glass (internetic) houses shouldn't throw stones!NO PASSARAN!#reinstateRed.Army.

Secondly, Getting 16 upvotes but being supported by only 3-4 people on forum... Looks suspicious and I actually felt like most of those upvotes were provided by private messages. Something like this: "Hi man, upvote this pls".

Last but not least, "Getting kicked off of staff because of his past actions". If that was even a case, why would ST would like to give him a chance after all?
For me, this drama just shows exactly how "Red.Army has matured over the years".

However, you fail to mention that 46 users have viewed this post. The goal of the topic was not to exonerate Red.Army from past actions, but to underline that his punishment could extent to multiple moderators. If you equate the liability/ asset that he is in the game,the forum and new players, there is no reason why he should be demoted from his supporter position other than personal vendettas.

1. As I underlined before, I am not arguing that Red.Army has not said controversial things. You are negating the argument that if Red.Army is demoted, then many mods with controversial pasts should follow suit.

2. Unfortunately this isn't only the Red.Army clan posting grievances. If you had a problem with Red.Army PLEASE PROVIDE EVIDENCE and I will be happy to listen to you. But so far you have provided none.

He is in a discord sever thats blowing up its called the imperial union and his clan declared war on are clan i believe he is the leader of the Asylioan guard

It's also really irresponsible to make this post you shouldn't make a post trying to get reinstated but the reasons he was removed should be discussed privately between the staff team and red army and I am not suggesting that this is at all red army falt and is the staff teams for not double-checking the new supporter or just asking the community for there opinion or even just using there heads and not rushing the process. for me, it took almost a month for an answer and they gave red army an answer within a few days, of course, there are going to issue what the hell do u accept

He should not be a supporter. This is utterly outrageous at face value, and I have a hard time grasping that this administration would consider him for the position at all.

this is also coming from someone who hasn't know red army too long (guessing)
and yes all these arguments are throwing away his chances of even being re-instated
but giving people chances are needed and atwar is just one trash heap after the next
you really think all the staff have spotty clear records you will terribly be misled (unless your estus)

The sum of his contributions to this forum have consisted of random posts idolizing Stalin. He is an outright, self-proclaimed communist. Communism should be well below the moral standards of this administration. I will not stand idly by while a communist who kicked out the majority of my clan several months ago is given the reins of authority over me. In a private message, Red.Army told me that he himself persuaded Echoo to kick out 100 players from my clan. He is a fraud. He is not a moral authority, let alone a person capable of "supporting" this game.
