Hello AW. I figured we needed one of those topics where you can just have a conversation about whatever the heck you want, and no one really cares if you derail it based on an idea you have. Just please, please be respectful. And if you talk about politics and religion, don't start a flame war, or respond to flamers. And don't quote wall. And don't complain about farming, cheating, unfairness, moderators, or anything that is the awesomeness of AW. And have fun .

So apparently some random bloke in Louisiana started a petition to secede from the USA. They need 15,000 more signatures by Dec. 7 for the White House to look at it (at the moment they have 9000). This'll be so hilarious if they actually get enough signatures. Scratch that, this is hilarious in general.

They're just a bunch of dumb fucks sittin in a bayou who this seceding from the USA will end their problems. I wish they'd look at the reality of it for once. "Hey, you fuck tards just cos you secede from USA doesn't mean you will get better lives."

Actually, funnily enough, most of the people who signed the petition aren't even from Louisiana. Like they're trying to kick it out of the union.

Seems it's hit the media, the story being shown on ABC, CNN, Fox (duh), etc. At the moment, Texas's petition, which was started 2 days after Louisiana's, is closing in on 100,000 signatures, while Louisiana has 30,000. The other states that have surpassed 25,000 are Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

I just love how most of the signatures aren't even from the state in the petition. The Alaska petition, for example, has about 6,000 signatures, 5,000 of which aren't from Alaska. So we're basically kicking out the entire southern US. And Alaska.

And then there are even more petitions written in response to those. Check out this hilarious petition. I can't wait to see what the White House will come up with in response to these, by now, over 300,000 signers.
