This idea in my opinion would be an awesome idea for more medieval scenario's/maps. I think they should implement it as an option you can check off when starting the map/game. Personally I greatly support this idea, but have an idea on this topic. Reffering to Civilization's Revolution
In game the view of your land depends on the size of the city, which could relate back to AtWar, which would determine the range of the land based on the population, reinforcement number, and income of the city. Say Delphi with a reinforcement # of 8, a population of 14 mln, and an income of 214, would have a much greater range of view, than say Warsaw with 5 reinf., a population of 1.7 mln, and an income of 99. Basically if the fog option should be implemented into the game, I believe that their range should be determined by the basic size of the city.

But you could still see everything from the spectator point of view, if you have a buddy watching.

Would make afterwind more realistic and worldgames more excited to play! even spectators can tell their 'friends' how many troops coming from the enemies.

Think of the strategies you could use if your enemy couldn't see your armies coming. Show weakness in the north but come with a huge blow to the south. This would allow MORE strategy.

blitzkrieg was offensive doctrine not strategy, same goes for other so called "strats", it was general's mind that was using units different way, not something applying units that was giving them more power, and i think fow is bs, i mean every superior officer could've afforded a strategical map and pointed out enemies and his units there, as i said it's not tactical game where u launch close combat operations and u have no idea where ur enemy groups are hiding, this is strategy game, f.e 1 infantry = 1 infantry division which consists from ca. 13k men.
