It was a time that this happen.
Reason : AW has become unplayable.
The game is under 10% potential, because it got abandoned and has nothing new or good. Html version still looks very ugly, even if we got used to it.
Competitive scene died. Proof for that is my friend eagle won east tour. D
So many players quit or stopped playing this game.
Because no upgrades, Bhutan server, bugs (so, so many bugs).
Who can explain why this game, which most of us still love and think it has a lot of potential, turns into this.
Graphic, server, and motivation are on such a low level for 2017.
We (every player who signs here, he have to post and apply to join in strike group) demand improvements, and we demand them soon.
The current state is not acceptable for us.
So we will not play this game again until all our wishes are met.
List of our wishes :
1.Fix server so we can play like humans.
2.Release map editor already.
Admins promised that gonna be done 2 years ago. We can't wait anymore.
3.Demote inactive and useless mods.
4.Implement two new strategies. Even if they suck, we just need something new. We can make a topic with suggestions for new strats.
5.Fix codes. It is so easy to exploit some of bugs.
Everyone who supports this, post here to join group of strikers.
Only thing you have to do is not to play games. Chat in game, insulting other players while they play is allowed. Forum posting is fine too.
But if you play even a single turn since strike is on, you will become betrayer, an admin spy, and someone who is happy with currently state.
Players which also stopped to play because of some of those reasons are welcome to join too.

We are under a sustained DDoS attack at the moment, which we can't do anything about. Our server provider already offers DDoS protection as standard, but this is not enough, as we've been witnessing. You can strike all you want, but the fact is we simply don't have enough resources to mitigate this. Same goes for code updates and updates in general. I myself personally, have close to zero time to spend on the game development at this moment of my life. Ivan is similar. We've been working tirelessly on this game for over 5 years, which had a big effect on our social lifes (mine certainly). We've got families, kids, you know. It came to a point when it's just not doable anymore. I still do believe we have achieved a lot, being such a small team and working on the game in our spare time. So strike all you want, but remember that in reality it's all quite trivial. Unless someone offers us good money to buy the game or to help us work on it and on the fixes - it will remain as it is (at least for now). Which is still an perfectly playable game when we're not being DDoS'ed (yes, there's the map editor problem, we know, but still). By the way, whoever is doing it, I struggle to understand your motives. Where is the fun in ruining people's playing experience? I will never get this.

we understand your honest feelings on this issue but all of us long time commited players feel bad about this response.. knowing that you guys wont try anything to stop this its quite depressing  the motives of the ddos were possibly to try to get your attention to the game again im guessing.

This game is like some old toy for you Amok. If u are grown up and dont have time, or motivation to play with it. Maybe u should think about that to sell this game until u still getting offers. After that u will have more time to spend with ur family or idk. But k this is still your game and do with it what u want. We strike cuz got sick of : ddos, bugs, promises (always have to beg admins to do anything) and many things. Illiria still didnt got trophy for winning cw season, 6 months passed until that. How much time admin need to set that? 30 sec max If u asking me...

I fully understand the frustration of all the players with the current progression of atWar. But at the same time I don't understand people who say we did it for a quick cash grab. These people clearly don't know the history of Afterwind and then atWar and our involvement in it, which frustrates me too. We have tried everything we could to stop it, we are out of options at the moment.

Also im not the person which " ruining people's playing experience". Over 2k cws we played, so many random games, trained low ranks and... In this case thats you. Cuz no upgrades, no any care for this game. So Amok what about it that you gave more powers to Sun and few moderators, so they can do much more then only ban/mute?

Why not actually do something? anything at all, why leave us completly in the dark, and with half a finished game? You had a dedicated extremly passionate player base and not once did you ask us for any sort of assistance, you just let this game die and to us it looks like you never gave a shit in the first place.

You guys are confusing adding new admins with actual game development. Giving people admins rights won't fix all the bugs or finish the map editor.

New programmer, admin, features, strats, upgrades. Can keep game alive and interesting. To collect money u can put option " mod for a weak for a 2k pc or less". Im sure many noobs would paid for that lol. When whole game depends from only one man (who dont have time for it) we got situation like this.
Who can make that map editor?
