Battles Spring 1813
Uncomfortable on defense, Napoleon struck quickly into Silesia, forcing his troops to cross mountains and without supplies all the way to Berlin. Exhausted, but inspired to fight the French encounter the Prussians at Cottbus. Blücher had superior numbers felt today was the day that the French would finally be defeated. On all flanks thousands fired and bombarded each other with horrifying artillery barrages exploding people to bits. French assaults were repelled with enormous casualties but rallied by Davout and Napoleon. They regrouped and launched a second charge led by Marmont and Bernadotte who broke the flank under Kleist. The Prussian army finally panicked and fled (Panic Card). Yorck abandoned the field with his 5 divisions before the rout (Scum of the Earth) but his whearabouts are not exactly known. Blucher abandons Berlin to Pomerania. The campaign has been very bloody for France but moreso for the Prussians.
Lannes, declaring himself King of Naples and promised to remove the Mohammedans from Italy. This proclamation has gained him great popular support throughout the land. Moving northwards with great speed, the french cavalry find turkish forces encamped across the River Savio. In the early dawn hours, Lannes achieves total surprise rushing across the bridge slaughtering any who resisted and bombarding the camp. Most of the turks just surrender and thus Romagna is freed of their odious presence.
Wellington, spent the winter of 1812 in Valencia. The area is a hotbed of spanish nationalism and on a ride to inspect the conditions of one of his army camps he was hit by a spanish rifle sniper from the hedges, shattering his forearm. Despite being extremely painful, he endured it with a stiff upper lip. (Enemy leader wounded -1 dice). Later in the year, new arrived of Castanos and the spanish resistance army seeking to liberate catalonia from british occupation. The anglo-portuguese army was ready, and found the ragged spanish army encamped in Lledia, battles around the outskirts turned to the british favor. It was noticed that the spanish army was terribly equipped in combat, few had uniforms most looked like peasants with muskets.

Battles Summer 1813
Seeking to end the resistance once and for all, Moore advanced directly on Aragon with as many men as he could muster. They found the badly manned and equipped spanish remnant flying their ragged flag proudly at Zaragoza. Taking the hills around the region, and bombarding the spanish who had no cannons of their own soon changed their resolve. Most began to surrender. Castanos led a final attack to take one of the british batteries, but it was doomed, and he was mortally wounded. At this point both sides ended the fighting as it was realized to be just a cruel butchery. Moore grants the spanish right to bury their general at his home near Madrid.

Battles Winter 1813
Russian agents, with ottoman gold have stirred up italian nationalists in naples. Thousands in sicily and naples were raised and gathered in the city calling for the overthrow of Lannes, the usurper. Seeking to put down the revolt, a division in Rome under Jourdan marched south and found them defending a fortified line at capua. Numerous assaults failed to disloge them and the loyalist forces suffered grave casualties, forcing him to abandon the field. Once again, southern italy is compromised.
Wellington defeats spanish insurgents around Granada, in the mountains of the region.
The Invasion of Île Bonaparte was an amphibious operation in 1813 that formed an important part of the British campaign to blockade and capture the French Indian Ocean territories of Île Bonaparte and Isle de France . These islands formed a fortified base for a French frigate squadron under Commodore Jacques Hamelin to raid British convoys of East Indiamen travelling between Britain and British India.
The plan was launched on 7 November 1813 as two combined forces of British sailors, soldiers, sepoys and Royal Marines landed at separate beaches. Although a number of men were drowned in the heavy surf, the majority of the invasion force reached the beaches safely and marched inland, attacking French outposts as they approached the capital. Recognizing that his demoralised garrison would be unable to defend Saint Denis and that the militia would take too long to mobilise, the French commander Colonel Chrysostôme de Sainte-Suzanne surrendered the island, its garrison and its stores to Moore

Battles Spring 1814
Despite being outnumbered in Germany, Napoleon planned to take the offensive and defeat the Coalition army to the north before they threatened France. The reports of their poor supply situation proved to be inaccurate with the arrival of the British, who begun to rapidly land massive amounts of artillery at Hamburg, especially the newly developed howitzers with fuse shells, as well as Rocket Corps from India.
Perhaps overconfident, Napoleon believed his army could sweep away the Coalition in a mass assault. However, the best veteran part of the Grand Armee had by now been lost, most notably at Cottbus last year. The conscripts suffered horrific casualties against the sustained Prussian an Swedish lines, constantly being bombarded by terrifying howitzer shells. Witnessing his lines being shredded apart Napoleon refused to send in the Guard to the same fate and abandoned the field in disgust after his marshals failed to achieve their objectives.

Battles Summer 1814
Falling back to France to prevent the Coalition from invading the homeland, The Allies had become overextended and Napoleon took advantage of this to strike hard at his enemies. The French fell upon the Austrian army of Charles at Chaumont and routed them completely, capturing Charles who gave his sword to the Emperor and promised to retire. Despite the loss at Hanover, the French army still proved capable of defending its heartland and Napoleon himself promised he would raised a new Grand Armee if they did. Willing at last to make peace, all powers will now resolve the end of the war by diplomacy.

The diplomats of Europe arrive and begin discussions;
Item 1: What to do with Napoleon?
Napoleon, the most infamous leader of France still rules, and has not abdicated. Perhaps the most contentious issue of the Congress, no Empire is very keen to see him stay on the throne, and many believe peace is impossible as long as he remains in power. Removing him would be a noteworthy end to the Napoleonic Wars, however if some Empire(s) support him, he may be gracious in return...
The French Throne:
a. Napoleon remains Emperor ( France +100 pts)
b. Bourbon Restoration, Napoleon Exiled ( UK +40 pts), ( Russia +20pts),( Prussia+20 pts),(Austria +20 pts)
Special: Because Napoleon remains unbeaten, and the people love him and hate the Bourbons, France has 4 votes here.
This item will be resolved by simple majority.
Aye (10 votes) +3 due to french outrage
Marquis de Talleyrand of France
Viscount Castlereagh of Great Britain
Nay (9 votes) +1 vote due to prussian outrage
King Frederick William III of Prussia
Prince Clemens von Metternich of Austria

Tsar Alexander's proposal is laid before the Congress:
Item 2: The territorial settlement of Saxony and the Grand Duchy of Warsaw
Since it was Russia that has occupied most of the area, the Chairman begins by calling on the leader of the Russian delegation to propose a motion concerning the future of these regions.
In the case of the former Grand Duchy, each area (Gdansk,Poznan,Torun,Warsaw,Bialystok,Lodz,Krakow) may be:
Poznan put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Torun put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Warsaw put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Bialystok put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Krakow put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Lodz put under Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
Gdansk handed over to Russian control ( Russia +30pts ea)
In the case of the Kingdom of Saxony, the Kingdom is worth 100 points in total. It can be split into 10 pt parts between Austria (who wishes Saxony to be under a King loyal to them) or Prussia (annexed as a province)
100% of Saxony is to remain as an Independent Kingdom (Austria +100 pts)
Russia lays claim to Finland
Ceded to Russia ( Russia +40pts ), UK -20 pts,
Veto Clause
Russia, Prussia or Austria may veto the entire proposal if they are alone vs the 4 other majors
This motion can only be carried if
If the Russian motion is not carried when a vote is taken the Prussian delegation will be offered to propose an alternative.
If this Prussian motion is not carried, the Austrian delegation leader to propose a motion, which must fulfill the same conditions as the other before it can be passed.
If at least two of the motions failed because Russia, Prussia or Austria voted against them/vetoed, then Russia, Prussia and Austria must deduct 20 points each from their scores. The voting procedure outlined above is repeated and if no proposal is carried the same penalty may be imposed again. It should be clear that continued deadlock over the Polish and Saxon issues will so penalize Russia, Prussia and Austria that they cannot possibly win the Congress. If other powers are responsible for a dead lock, no penalty is inflicted.
