Remove Troops?

Hello. So when i played a game some said that i should remove my troops as part of diplomacy, how can i remove my troops from a city?

Fyi, the troops types is militia, and u know that militia has short range, can i remove it withour airplanes or trans ship?

If its just for an ally you can move the militias out by land, they have short range but as long as you move them out its fine.

So we can not just delete them?

Nope you can't delete units, you'll just have to move them away and if you did want to get rid of them one option would to be to suicide them on neutrals/enemy

This brings up a great point, why can't we dismiss soldiers when our upkeep gets too big or after a huge war during peace time? Maybe give an option to sell them for 10% of original cost or something, that way you get a little something in addition to saving money, since you know, real militaries scrap old rusted tanks and shit.
