Nice no cowboy bebop....

I love cowboy bebop as evident from my profile picture. It's just not the first anime i would recommend someone starting out.

Also, the one and only greatest masterpiece in the history of mankind, Girls und Panzer.

Code Geass is by far one of my favorite anime series. I've also always been a huge fan of mobile suit gundam

The story was so horrible, that if you didn't absolutely love the music and animation (which greatly dropped off after the first few episodes) then it wasn't worth watching.

Boku no Pico

Attack on titan is a anime made for people who don't watch anime i think, start on that. I've not seen it but when it came out everyone was talking about it including people who never watched anime.

If you need a really cool site to watch all sorts of animated shows Anime, cartoons etc. Look up toon mania it is the best site iv found for steaming and downloading completly free.

Something about the Japanese language makes a lot of strong characters sound like whiny bitches to me. Luffy, from one piece, Naruto, from naruto, and goku, from DBZ to name a few. A good example to argue this isn't always true would be full Metal Alchemist, and Attack on titan, the original actors are very good in those shows but it's hardly the standard. I geuss it's a preference thing, but alot of good dubs come in English, I'm not even sure what a croatian dub would sound like, so seeing as both languages are foreign to you anyways, it's probably easier for you to choose the original.
